BSAC's coveted Heinke Trophy has been won by Clidive, a London-based dive club.
 
Military divers have tagged 15 sharks off the island of Cocos in Costa Rica.

The clubs training program is reviewed once a month at committee meetings. Major grade training plans are usually planned at the start of the year, with SDR's and Training Dives being organised a month in advance, or as people request them.

The Club currently has 13 Qualified Instructors. However the bulk of the clubs training is carried out by the instructors below

Phil has just stepped down from the Training officer role is and highly thought of by all that have been trained by him, he is patient and always has time to offer advice or extra training sessions. Phil has recently become a Dad so he isn't at the club as often as he used to be

Alex Is one of our oldest diving members but also one of the most active, Alex can be found at the club most nights and is always willing to chat to people and offer advice and support. Alex is currently the treasurer and is always up for a dive.

Mark and Matt are the two newest instructors having only just passed there instructor qualifications, but don't let that fool you Mark is considered one of the clubs good guys always willing to help out and always willing to dive with newbies. Mark is currently equipment officer and can be found at the club most nights.

Like Mark, Matt is newly qualified, but having also just qualified as a junior doctor Matt isn't at the club all the time. In what spare time Matt does have he also assists in running try dives, Snorkeling courses. Matt is highly experienced and willing to dive with all.

Natalie is a new member of the club, she is dual qualified as both PADI and BSAC and is currently running the training program along with her Husband Steve. The club welcomes Natalie and wish's her good luck in her role

Steve Is also new to the club and is a highly experienced BSAC Instructor and Advanced Diver, he also works for the police so is not always down at the club, when he is he is easy going and has a wealth of experience he is happy support new divers, and will dive whenever shifts allow him. Steve
